Sasha's Den reserves the right to refuse any adoption application that does not meet the needs of one particular cat. These criteria vary from one animal to the other, according to what we believe is in their best interest.

Sasha's Den is opposed to the practice that consists in removing the last joint of each of the cat's toes, commonly called 'declawing'. Unless a cat has arrived in our care having already been declawed, we do not allow this surgery on any of our cats. 

Sasha's Den is not a shelter and is not open to the public. Our cats are fostered in private homes. It is therefore of no use to write to us asking to visit a cat the very same day. We set up appointments with approved applicants only, and according to our foster homes' availabilities.

Sasha's Den is managed voluntarily and outside of our regular work schedules and family lives. Please allow 24-72 hours for the processing of your application. We receive hundreds of email messages weekly. If you do not hear from us within 72 hours, please do send us a courteous reminder.
